Pants
Plaid
I start with two base colors that match eachother, for this, I chose denim blue and a mint green.
Start by placing dots of your first color in a three pixel square with 1 clear space in between.
Add the second color adjacent to the first color, forming a two-hued band of awesomeness.
Add a darker shade, noticeably darker, and paint it above the tile of the lighter tinge.
Repeat with the second color, pop it through a blur tool at 50 in two clicks (for Pixlr), and you're done with the plaid pattern!
How It starts and where it ends
I would add more pant to the torso section of your skin file, about 2-3 pixels if more, This, of course, would be covered up by a coat or something similar.
Coats
Tailcoat
Start in the back section of your pant area about 3 pixels up off the shoe section facing left , and outline a fourth-circle in black(or darker shade of coat color). On the edge of the side of the leg (outer), go up 7 pixels then paint a 1x2 block, go up a pixel, then one to the side facing the front of the skin, and repeat until the pant section ends. Add a pixel to the sides of the torso facing the front of the skin. Towards the top of the side, draw a 2x4 section of your darker color for the collar, and on the top of the torso where the shoulders would be, just outline with the darker shade, save a 4 pixel space facing the front of the skin.. On the front of the torso, go up two pixels and draw a 3 pixel diagonal line, going upwards towards where the head would be, stopping at 3 pixels from the top. Go out to the arms with a diagonal line, creating two half-circles facing opposite directions on each side of the torso. Draw up on the last pixel of that top diagonal line to the top of the torso. Go one pixel inward on each side (1x2), creating the lapels of the tailcoat. Fill in the outline with the base color. On the back of the legs, draw a line with the darker shade, stopping at the end of the leg section. You have created a tailcoat! Add the standard coat arms, some buttons near the lapel and 2 pixels outward of the dark line, and you should be good to move on to the next item!
Frock
For a frock, go to the top of the leg section and one pixel from the joining of the legs, and paint down a 5 pixel line with the base color. Go all the way around the leg section with the base color. have a darker shade (lighter with black) on the innermost line on the front. Continue the line through the front of the torso, stopping at 3 pixels below the head. Diagonal line, then top with a pixel. Make a horizontal pyramid on the line 6 pixels from the legs, connect, and fill until there's only one space of air between the pyramid''s northern topside to the top of the line. Fill in with the base color on the torso. On the top of the inner sides, paint a 2x3 square with a pixel sticking out of the top, and continue the one pixel line all the way around the torso. At the top, outline with the darker color, leaving the 4 pixel space at the top.
To be continued...
