If you find yourself making, lets say, a city, town, adventure map, or something of the sort you most likely are thinking about what you want and what you want it to look like. If you are like me, you will see beautiful buildings in your head, but don't know how to turn it into your city. a simple way I have come to avoid that is making a simple little to do board. For say your making a town, and you want a mine, castle, towers, walls, wells, houses, shops, and a market. All these things may seem formidable at first, but putting it on a board with signs with each singular idea on it makes it seem much less hard and makes it go by much faster. You may also come up with other ideas as you go along and it could work out better than you thought it would!
