This is a tutorial for people who want to use Minecraft Forge mod-loader, but are not familiar how to use it.

Minecraft Forge is a mod manager for, well, Minecraft! You can download it here.

HOW TO INSTALL MINECRAFT FORGE!

Step 1 - After downloading Minecraft forge (Download Above!), Download 7-zip (You can also use Winrar, I just prefer 7-zip). You can download 7-zip here

Step 2 - After downloading and installing 7-zip, open the Minecraft Forge folder with it.

Step 3 - Then go to your start menu (symbol in the corner) and type "%appdata%". You will come up with several different folders. Open ".minecraft". Then go into your bin folder. After, open up your minecraft jar file with 7-zip.

Step 4 - With your Minecraft Forge folder open and your minecraft jar file open, go into your Minecraft Forge folder, click edit, then click select all. Then drag all files/folders into your minecraft jar file. Do not delete any files/folders!

Step 5 - Close both folders and open your Minecraft. Login and do anything you normally would. If you get a black screen or it freezes, re-open Minecraft, click options, and click force update. Then repeat this process and see if it works. If it does work please message me!

HOW TO USE MINECRAFT FORGE!

Step 1 (And Last!) - If you installed Minecraft Forge, you obviously want to install some mods, right? No? Eh, alright. Anyway, once you have your mod installed, go into your start menu and type "%appdata%". Then go into your ".minecraft" folder. After installing Minecraft Forge, you should have a "mods" folder. Simply drag and drop your mod into the mods folder. After, close it and open Minecraft and Bam! You have your sick new mod.

I did exactly that. Installed the mods to the mod folder. but they are ALL active at once. everytime. How do I only use one at a time?  They won't let me disable them either. Disable appears in read text and does nothing when I click on it. some mods don't even have a disable button. The game now crashes because all the mods load into ONE game ALL at once.  What did I do wrong?
Thanks
