Hey Guys Grif here, and my computer sucks...... so i have came up with some solutions to stop minecraft lag and i thought i would let you guys know what i did to increase my fps from 10 to 50!!!!! yes by that much, all download links will be near the bottom

1. (yes i know you heard it a 1000 times) get optfine
*optfine is a awesome mod that will reduce minecraft lag and it is easy to install
*everybody's computer is diffrent with the setting configured so just customize yours and see which one fits you bets :)

2. Razors Game Booster
*this is a game booster that will help reduce lag for all games not just minecraft, all's you have to do is configure, and defrag (recommended), and launch a computer restart is probably good too.

3. Clean your PC
* i went through my pc and deleted games i didnt play texture packs i didnt use and a whole bunch of junk i increased my computer memory by a couple GB at least 10-20 and My computer was alot faster and that made a big difference on minecraft

4.Java
*there is two ways to this
1.you could install a updated java and make sure it fits your system OR/AND
2. start up minecraft and wait till it gets to the main menu press Crtl-Alt-Del and open up your task manager After that go to minecraft and right click Go to process , find java in the process and right click and click set priority and set it to high NOTE: if using razors game booster this option will not be available if you run your game through razors game booster

5.A Computer cleaner program
*i will not have a link to this one because there are so many out there but just clean your pc with it and backup files

6. Internet
*uninstalling toolbar and other programs the pesky internet has installed on your computer will help ALOT such as deleting history, downloads and others mainly toolbar

7. (Derp) empty your recycling bin
*yes i know obvious but believe it or not when you delete stuff from your computer it remains in the recycling bin and still uses up precious memory
