Hello PlanetMinecrafters!
I know some of you guys want to open up a server! Well ill show you a detailed way.

First: Router Access
What Router And Getting in the "Virtual Servers" area.
(I am using Belkin as an example)
Think: Whats The Routers Default gateway?

- Belkin: 192.168.1.1
- D-Link: 192.168.0.1
- Air-Port (May Not Work): 10.0.1.1

** If you dont know go to CMD > then type in ipconfig then look for " Router Default Gateway "
** If you are on a MAC go to portforward.com
If your router says "Enter Password" or something you default password should be "password"

Now go into the "Virtual Servers" OR "Firewall > Virtual Servers"
(This might not match but this will help guide you)

Second: Time To Port
Ok, Now that you have navigated to your virtual servers list you must do the following:
Make two ports:
A TCP and a UDP with port 25565
Should look like this
This is how you it should be. Columns are seperated by a |
(Private IP) | TCP | 25565
(Private IP) | UDP | 25565
** TO FIND YOUR PRIVATE IP go in CMD and type ipconfig, then look for YOUR COMPUTER'S IP or something like that.
** ON MAC GO TO SYSTEM PREFERENCES > NETWORK.
Third: Server.properties
Ok now that you did that, Go into your server's server.properties file. Change the IP address to YOUR INTERNAL IP. Also DO NOT CHANGE PORT.

** Remember, Ip Address that begin with: 192.168, 10.0, or 127; you will not be able to connect.
Instead go to whatsmyip.net and connect with the IP there.
