There was a mob "Steve" way back in the earlier Minecraft versions. "Steve" is part of the human mobs. ( I have blog for this -http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/human-mobs/ ). This blog will show you details about "Steve".
Introduction
"Steve" was the name of one variant of the now unused human mobs. They were originally in-game as a test during the Indev phase ( older test version of Minecraft's Survival mode). At that point, it had been stated that the player avatar would look like Steve in the future, but with a miner hat and a different skin.Steve was made by "Dock", Minecraft's past artist. When Dock left the development team, "Steve" was scrapped (how sad). The player model remains the same as the now removed Human NPC.
How he looked like?
Steve, like The Player, has brown hair. He has rectangular brown eyes, and also brown eyebrows. He has a blue shirt and a brown belt. He has brown gloves, and brown pants with blue shoes.

Health points - 5 ( 2,5 hearts)
Spawn - Random
One of the following :
Drops - String (1-2) on death. (Most common)
Feather (1-2) on death.
Gunpowder (1-2) on death.
Flint and Steel (0-1) on death. (Extremely rare)
