Place commas. Usually they are used near "and", "or", or "but", and are used in other places as well. I noticed you forgot an amount of these. Try using less quotation marks and semicolons; quotation marks are used primarily for quotations, naturally, and semicolons, similar to a comma, can be used to indicate a pause, but are used very specifically, in a sense that adds a different thought to a sentence. That's not my best description, but I'm sure you can find more on them. Also, remember you're safe to use "It", "He", or "She" after mentioning something once or twice; it helps smooth out your writing. Now, this isn't all specific to this, just your writing in general.
