Hello, I am Nickcp64 and the question i am looking at today is: Is diamond armor from Minecraft worth it in real life?

My answer is no.

Though it is extremely hard to puncture, it is also very hard to move around in because it is hard to move around the flex points. Also, once hit hard enough, it will smash into hundreds of little pieces and all that money and diamonds will go to waste. Any fire or explosion will turn the diamond back into carbon making in useless. Also in battle, everyone will want to go after the guy with diamond armor to rob the corpse. Any modern range weapon will obliterate the armor since diamonds are very easy to fracture and the bullets would be strong enough to smash it. Even landmines or flamethrower are enough to destroy the armor. It would never be great in battle due to your slowness. It will take a ton of time to finish. Diamonds are hard, but when broken, you have no defense and the only way to be safe is to go in a battle with no guns. Sword fights are your only option unless you can carry more weight .And to top it all off, it would cost a ton of money. It would cost like billions of dollars since there are so many carats to count and the color of the diamond is tinted BLUE. Blue diamonds are rare because they have to mixed with a chemical like boron to make it a blue tint.
