I know that Christmas just passed and this idea caught my attention. I have never been close to anyone in my family but my dad. I recently just moved in with him because my parents are divorced and I am 17 years old. Excluding my father I only got $10 in total from every single family member that I know for Christmas and my birthday. My birthday is December 18th by the way. Everyone says that giving is more important then getting. If you know me I agree with that statement too. I do graphic work for free, make skins for people, and give lots of money to people that really need it because I put everyone before me. I have really never cared about how unhappy I was my whole life because if you lived with me you would understand. My parents always told me that I was worthless and should just run away and never come back, but that never stopped me from trying to follow my dreams and go to school every day to make people as happy as they can be. I like to see people with smiles on their faces rather then one on mine. But for everything; Christmas and My Birthday; i only got $10 from everyone excluding my father. Of coarse I was very mad and I felt like that was very unfair. I think that Christmas and Birthday's is what everyone looks forward too because if you ever wanted that one special thing or multiple things that you've been wanting for a long time you could get! What do you guys think? Also, what type of situations are you in too?
