If you don't know what a batch files is it is a script that does a list of jobs, by using the program cmd, they are very useful, if you would like to start learning how to make them or what to study it further got to batch-file-help.blogspot.com/

a batch file is not a program. it's a script that's run by a program (cmd.exe). nit-picking of course, and your links are helpful
