Run. Run. Run. Far away from yelling and screaming, drama and such things that meddle with peace of mind. Escape. Escape. Escape. To a land of dreams, away from all the nightmares. As the real world falters by the hand of mortal god, by the slight of hand that causes such destruction, through and through endless responsibilities and broken promises. When they'll see it how I do, it will already be to late. The world destroyed by it's very inhabitants. But ignoring all that seemed simple, with a push of a button and a couple clicks, to be transported into a world of freedom, of creativity, of endless possibility. However faulty the world is, at best it is a pirate of Minecraft. The pirated version that is life without the many features that make people love it. For it is not the hate of the world that drives me to play but for the love of every aspect that makes it special. Because it is as close to life as possible without being demeaning, the inhibited lifestyle we live broken by a single world save. Because friends are made, trust is given. There will always be life there you keep you on your feet, to keep you thinking, jumping walls and flying fast. But once you step into the glowing abyss of your computer monitor time can stop for you. You can play and play and ignore all circumstances. Because the thrilling ride that is Minecraft is not only enthralling but soothing, a perfect life you have etched out in stone.

I play the game for this feeling, of community, of inspiration, of love, of friendship. I play because once I stop I can wait to play again. It is escape from out real lives that we live, to enter a dream world. But we will never truly wake up once we step foot into it.
