Here is everything you need to know about the new Lush Caves biome and Axolotls in the new Minecraft 1.17 Cave update!
Lush caves are a new cave biome that will be added in the 2021 Minecraft 1.17 Cave and Cliffs update! Lush caves cancan be found by finding and then digging underneath Azalea trees in the overworld. Lush Caves contain brand new vegetations and a brand new mob!
Lush caves are a new cave biome that will be added in the 2021 Minecraft 1.17 Cave and Cliffs update! Lush caves cancan be found by finding and then digging underneath Azalea trees in the overworld. Lush Caves contain brand new vegetations and a brand new mob!
- Spore blossoms are large pink floor found on lush cave roofs. The Spore blossoms can be picked and the particles can be used throughout Minecraft.
- Glow berries are a light and food source.
- Drip leaf plants can be used as platforms that repair themselves over time. The leaves will tilt and players will fall through them.
- Axolotl are small, critically-endangered Mexican Salamanders found n bodies of water within Lush Cave biomes. They come in a variety of colours (Leucistic, Yellow, Green, Brown and Purple/Pink).
- Can be caught in a bucket, they can be tamed and can form an Axolotl army. If players have a good relationship with the Axolotl they may heal players. Axolotl Attacks mobs including Drowned, Guardians, elder Guardians and Fish.
- Axolotl play dead when damaged and heals with regeneration. Mobs will also not harm them when they are playing dead. Turns invisible and teleports away afterwards.
