Part I - History


Chapter 1 - The Beginning?

First, there was nothing but the Void. It consumed everything
there was, though there was nothing to consume at that time. Anyway, there was
one ultimate being - Notch, who could not be consumed by the Void.
It was cool to be a being with ultimate power, but there was one problem.
He was bored, and boring it was.
Notch experimented with his powers to make something interesting,
but all his creations were devoured by the Void. So, he created an
undestructable substance - bedrock. He shaped it into a giant layer and
began building on top of it. First, he built a hot world full of fire
and lava and filled it with different creatures such as ghasts and blazes.
He called it the Nether. There were also the first intelligent nation - the
Witherfolk. They were tall grey giants, at that time having actual skin.


Chapter 2 - The Beginning.

The Witherfolk built giant fortresses above lava as their homes.
They were curious about the outer world, they tried to discover all
properties of every new block they found. One day, they found soulsand,
which was created over time, when a lot of souls of the dead Witherfolk clumped
in one place. At first glance, it was just a block that was hard to walk on.
Yet one of the Witherfolk heard one of the souls of the soulsand call out to him.
It told him to put four soulsand blocks in a "T" shape, and then sacrifice three
of the Witherfolk to put their skulls on top. It told him, that it would give
him the gift of ultimate knowledge.
Tricked by the interesting gift, the One of the Withers convinced his people
to sacrifice three of them. They agreed, but decided to make him one of
the sacrifices, with which he, of course, disagreed.
They build the structure and put the skull of the One in the middle.
The soul of the One and two other sacrifices were still hiding in their
skulls. Together they made the "T" their new body, and so the Wither was born.
Seeking vengeance on the other Witherfolk, they threatened to destroy
all the Witherfolk, unless they made the Wither their ruler.
The Witherfolk agreed. As time passed, the powers of the Wither
caused the Witherfolk around him be infected with the Wither Plague. It caused
their bodies to slenderize and their skin to Wither away. Soon, the once mighty
Witherfolk were just mindless living skeletons, whose only goal was to serve
the Wither.


Chapter 3 - The End?

Notch was disappointed with his first world. He decided to make the
opposite of the Nether. So he created the End. It was a deserted world consisting
of millions of floating islands. The End did not have much life. It had an
intelligent nation just like the Nether - The Endermen. Endermen were slim and
putple with the unique ability to teleport. Endermen were very architectural beings.
They built towering cities above the Void. Not having much things to fight against,
they were a peaceful race.
Their only enemies were the dragons - powerful acidic reptiles, whopise
main goal was to protect their eggs. Actually, there were never "dragons", to be
more precise, there were never multiple dragons at a time. There was one dragon
and one egg. Endermen, never destroyed the dragon eggs, because the dragons
gave them their most valuable material - the dragon breath.

Chaprer 4 - The Golden Middle

Once again, Notch was not satisfied with his creation. The End was just
too calm. Nothing important happened there, and the Endermen lived the same way
for centuries. So, he started his third project - the Overworld. It was a diverse
world with life varying from pigs to giant spiders and landscape from jungles to
deserts. At first, Notch decided to create a new race, but ended up in the derpy
squidwards we all know and love(maybe not quite love) today - Villagers.
The third intelligent race were the Humans. Unlike all previous, they
not only had the ability to use logic and build. They had imagination. It gave
them endless possibilities, and a never-ending flow of new creations for Notch
to gaze upon. At last, Notch succeeded in making something peaceful and interesting.
As time passed by, Humans would settle around the Overworld farther and
farther from the Spawn - the first place a human was created. They formed teams,
clans, bands, villages and even cities.


Chapter 5 - The Undead Virus

No one knows how, but some pigs mutated into green armless creatures today
known as creepers. They would be some very cute things, if it only wasn't for their
weird way of reproduction. When a creeper met a human, it would explode, killing
everyone around it. Then, their spores shot out in every direction, landing on the
corpses of the detonated. The spores would then develop into grown creepers inside
the warm and tasty flesh. (Thanks GameTheory) When growing, these spores would release
toxines, that spread around the body, causing the fallen from the dead. These zombies
fed on human flesh, which they also infected, thus spreading the virus farther. These
guys were stronger than an ordinary human, but their crippled skin would burst into
flames, when one would go into the sun.
At first startled, humans soon understood that these zombies were too slow
and stupid to be a big threat. It was enough for them to build walls around their
villages to be completely safe. But it didn't stay this simple forever...


Chapter 6 - The First Invasion

Since zombies originated from the intelligent humans, some zombies kept their
will, if their brains did not get completely poisoned. Such zombies formed their
own tribe, calling themselves the Qripah, or the Undead by humans. They learned to stay
in the shade during the day, use weapons and make bows for their use.
Now the pathetic night attacks of monsters became organized and strategical raids.
The Undead attacked and destroyed the Humans' biggest city, causing them to flee to the
far corners of the Overworld. There, humans fought for survival one by one. Their once
mighty civilization was now only a species, living in constant fear of the Undead.


Chapter 7 - The End.

Meanwhile, the high mage of the Endermen, called Ender, was traveling
through different dimensions, searching for knowledge, until he discovered the Overworld.
Endermen were fascinated with the beauty that world, so they decided to colonize it.
hey opened a portal by sacrificing 6 endermen for the 12 ender eyes to build the portal
to the Overworld.
As the colonization began, Endermen were not very interested with the
Undead or the humans. They would just drive them away from their colonies.
Humans and the Undead both tried to stop Endermen, but their technological
advantage and strength made them almost undefeatable.
Later, humans discovered that Endermen were weak to water. When contacting
water, an enderman's body would swell up, causing his death. Humans knew they had
to use the weakness somehow, but just pouring buckets of water at Endermen would not
be very efficient. So, they decided to make a risky, but a devastating move.
First, all humans came to the tallest mountain of the Overworld - the Peak
(I know, its a very creative name) Then, they built the GREAT BUCKET OF DOOM. It was
basically a GINORMOUS bucket of water, which they then poured over the land, and everyone
drowned.

AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER

The humans built the Ark, on which they put 2 animals of each kind (Enough for
a population in Minecraft). The Undead, on the other hand, just blocked the entrances
to their caves.
Anyway, that is how they murdured all the Enderman.:) Some Endermen would return,
but in very small numbers, and not to conquer, but to explore.


Part II - in additon...


Chapter 8 - The Farlands

The Overworld seemed like a pretty place, that made a lot of sense. However,
in the farthest corners of the Overworld (literally) there was this place - the Farlands.
It was a place, where there was no logic, only chaos. From far away, it seemed like a giant
wall with lots and lots of holes. Some very brave Minecrafters actually ventured into the
Farlands to live there, but they all would go crazy a few months later.
The farlands would stay as a reminder to how unperfect this world is for a long time,
if it wasn't for one weird change. Nobody knows how or why, but one day, the Farlands were
gone. Instead, there was more of the Overworld, but it seemed to become simpler and simpler
the farther it went. Of course, people were eager to see where this would lead to.
However, if one was to go beyond a certain point, he would start being teared apart
from the inside, unless he would return back.
It is unknown, who created this barrier. Notch? A player? The game? Illuminati?
We will probably never know...
