Hey Guys EliteCrafters3009 here, and welcome to Episode 4 of my Redstone Tutorial Series! The Support on Episode 2 was simply mind blowing so yeah lets set a target of 6 diamonds for this blog if we can do that thats amazing :D so yeah enough bla bla time to learn!

So Basically, LilystreamxDuskHeart has been telling me "hey, guys you know what i can make a piston door!" but when she tries she's like "okay.. this is harder than i expected it'd be.." so i thought i'd teach her how to make one piston door! (btw this is for evreyone on PMC not her alone)

So Yeah Before i get on with it i just want to say that this contraption uses somthing called a NOT gate which basically switches what a redstone signal is for example if a redstone signal is ON the NOT gate will turn it off. let me show you an example of what i mean and things will be very obvious..also btw leave a comment in the comment section below if i should get into gates a bit more later!
here's what a NOT gate is like:
undefined as you can see lever on but the output is off

so anyway onto step 1!

Step 1.
make a 3x4 frame for the door as shown dow below
undefined

Step 2.
Place 4 Sticky Pistons and 4 of your building block as shown down below (i chose mossy stone bricks but you can choose your own)
undefined

Step 3.
Break one block, place a redstone torch and place a block on top this should light up one of the pistons to light your other piston on top place a redstone DUST on the top of the blue wool :) (do the exact same on the other side)
undefined

Step 4.
Dig a little trench as shown and place some redstone on the trench then make sure the redstone feeds into the block that the redstone torch is on make sure the redstone and the redstone torch dosent touch each other
undefined

Step 5. Place some redstone dust below the mossy stone bricks (its gonna be your choice of building block) and place two pressure plates down in the your choice of building block as shown
undefined

Finally, fill up your trench and your piston door is done!
undefined

now you can just decorate the door which atleat Lily should be able to do xD anyway here's an example

Cool and on a side note you should also mention that you can also use buttons, levers (act goofy when using them),
