The Minecraft updates have been pretty crazy the last few years.
I'm going to predict Minecraft updates up to 1.30. Comment below what you think.
1.20 - The Trails and Tales Update
1.20 was a bamboo themed update with cool additions.
Release date: June 2023
Added stuff: Bamboo and cherry wood, camels, sniffers, hanging signs, suspicious sand and gravel, etc.
1.21 - The Forests and Fossils Update
1.21 will be a copper themed update with a new way to craft.
Release date: June 2024
Added stuff: More copper and tuff variants, auto crafter, more wood variants and biomes, armadillo, etc.
1.22 - The Desert Update
1.22 will probably be a desert themed update.
Release date: June 2025
Added stuff: New desert and mesa biomes, new cacti, sand variants, tumbleweed block, etc.
1.23 - The Animal Variety Update
1.23 will include new textures for animals, making ranches less boring.
Release date: December 2025
Added stuff: New variants for pigs, cows, chickens, wolves, parrot cage, better performance, etc.
1.24 - The Building Update
1.24 will bring various commands and gamerules for map makers.
Release date: June 2026
Added stuff: Commands like /fillsphere, /loadstructure, gamerules like "doBlockUpdates", etc.
1.25 - The End Update
1.25 will be an end update with end wood and more blocks.
Release date: June 2027
Added stuff: End wood, end ores, new end generation, more end mobs, etc.
1.26 - The Modloader Update
1.26, at this point, Mojang will add an official modloader.
Release date: December 2027
Added stuff: A modloader similar to Forge Mod Loader, 1.12.2 being a built-in version in the laucher, etc.
1.27 - The Customized Terrain Update
1.27 will add a customizable height limit.
Release date: December 2028
Added stuff: Customizable height limit for new worlds, customized world option from 1.12.2, etc.
1.28 - The Lost Mobs Update
1.28 will add all the lost mob and biome votes.
Release date: June 2029
Added stuff: Iceologer, penguin, crab, moobloom, savanna upgrade, new blocks, etc.
1.29 - The Zoo Update
1.29 will add new zoo animals and blocks, similar to real life.
Release date: December 2029
Added stuff: Zoo animals like giraffes and lions, dry grass, burr bush, etc.
1.30 - The Golem Update
1.30 will add various golems to the game.
Release date: December 2030
