Hey guys, Hysteralite here, and today I have a guide on how to make texture packs from 1x1 to 512 to 512.
1x1: www.mediafire.com/?w5lzb3ezk2vrfh8
Each block can not be multicolored. These packs never turn out well.
3x3: www.mediafire.com/?d8g7traa18a3q97
You have a little more freedom with these. Most turn out the same though.
8x8: www.mediafire.com/?k2wtgkv26q7ofbt
These actually turn out well most of the time.
16x16: The standard. The default is this resolution.
Here is the link anyway.

32x32: Good for if you want fine detail, but your computer cant do 64x64.

64x64: Harder to make, but turns out a lot better then 32x32.

128x128: For those level 40 Pixel Punchers.

256x256: For those hardcore texture pack makers.

512x512: The highest resolution. REALLY hard to make.
