First of all, this isn't some stupid thing made by a third grader. This is things that would actually be good in Minecraft. Nothing mythical like lapis lazuli tools or redstone armor, also nothing mechanical like plains or cars.

Main Ideas

Foods


1. Corn


Corn is something that I'm surprised hasn't been added yet. (I know it sounds corny :P) You can find it in villages or get it from zombies (very minuscule chance) like potatoes or carrots. You can grow it like others but with "Corn Kernels" which you can cook to make popcorn! Like any other crops they have stages. Potatoes and carrots have 3, wheat has 8, and corn should have 12. When it is ready to harvest you get 1 corn (like pumpkins) but you can break down the corn to get 4 "Corn Kernels".


2. Deer Meat


Received from killing a deer. Restores as many hearts as beef/steak and can be cooked to "Cooked Deer".


3. Orange


Finds in trees like apples, restores 2 hunger.


4. Orange Juice


Restores 2.5 hunger. Made by putting a orange over a bucket.


5. Apple Juice


Made by putting an apple over a bucket, restores 2.5 hunger.


6. Chicken Corn Soup


Recipe: (obvious) Chicken, Corn, and a bowl. Restores the same amount of hunger as mushroom stew.


7. New Pumpkin Pie Recipe


Made by putting 5 wheat in a boat shape on the bottom, a sugar in the middle, and 3 pumpkins on top. (See images) Placed, but eaten in a triangle (like pizza) in stead of rectangular (like cake).


8. Bread Slice

The outcome of putting bread into your inventory is "Bread Slice". The amount given is 2. It does half the amount of hunger as bread, and is the main ingredient to "Subs".

9. Subs


Made by taking 2 half bread and putting either [cooked]: deer; beef; pork; chicken in the middle of the 2 half slices. Restores 6 hunger.


10. Banana


Restores 2 hearts and is found 7.5% in jungle trees.


11. Cooked Eggs


Made by smelting eggs (from chicken) to get "Cooked Eggs". (Sunny Side Up) They restore 3.5 hunger.


Tools


1. Dagger


It is made like a sword but without the top piece. Like any other tool or weapon, it can be made wood, gold, stone, iron, or diamond. To use it, you left click to stab, (like a sword but it does 1/2 damage) but what is unique about it is it can be thrown with the right click button! It can be dodged, (like an arrow) and can indeed be picked up after use.


Functions


1. New and Improved Redstone Wire


Redstone wire should be able to be placed on walls or on the ceilings of blocks.


2. Friends List


You can "add friend", "delete friend", "message", "block", and other stuff, so you can chat with one another.


3. Sleep Meter


This meter is below the XP meter. The sleep meter is blue, and it starts full, and when you don't sleep, it goes down. But when you do sleep, it goes up. When the sleep meter is at 0, you will have the same effects as "Weakness" and "Slowness". (Sleep tight don't let the silverfish bite)


Mobs


1. Deer


Found in pine (spruce) forests, and they drop "deer meat", and "deer hide". Breeds with "Corn".


2. Bear


Eats "Deer" and eats the "Player" on sight. Basically a new "Enemy Mob".


3. Shark


Destroys your boat on sight, an enemy mob, eats "Squid" and "Player". Drops shark tooth which is an alternative for "flint" in "arrows".


4. Horse


I think it would be cool so you can ride pigs and horses. But a wild horse is rare to find so it would be a challenge to get it. Once you find it you can place a saddle on it and you can ride it. The upside to this is that you can control it (like a boat) and you can go left and right and forward and backward. The colors of the horses come in the default color which is Tan, also White, Black, Light and Regular Grey, and Brown.


Materials/Items


1. Gold Coin


Made by putting 4 gold nuggets in a square. Used for currency, trading, or just having! But mostly for multiplay servers.


2. Tan Dye


Made by mixing "Cocoa Beans" and "Bonemeal".


3. Pumpkin Guts


Made by Smelting "Pumpkin" and you get "Pumpkin Guts". *Replaces Orange Dye*


4. Sailboat


The upsides of sailboats are: They go double the speed as a normal boat, they can hold 4 things (players, animals, chests, crafting tables, and furnaces,) The driver sits in the front right of the ship. To make a sailboat it is like making a real boat, but its made of iron, has a stick in the middle and on top of the stick is a sheet (which I'll explain later in the list).


5. Sheet


It is made the same way you make glass panes but you use wool to make sheets. Sheets are used for sails for sailboats and can be placed like a carpet for decoration. They can be hung over sticks. Sheets can be dyed.


6. Place-able Sticks


Sticks can be placed, same properties as a fence, but can have stuff hung on them.


7. Place-able Leather


Like a sheet, can be placed and hung over a carpet. You can make custom tents with sticks and leather.


8. Raw Foods on a Stick


Place a raw food on a stick, then when its in your hand, right click a fire, and it cooks the food.


9. Pan


Making basically a cauldron, but the bottom middle piece is at the middle row, middle column spot, making an H. This makes a pan that you place over a fire and you right click a raw food over it and it places it on the pan (like placing cake on the ground) and after a few seconds it cooks the food. Then you right click to take it out and it will be cooked. The good thing of making a pan is it runs off fire not coal.

10. Sandstone Walls

Made like regular cobblestone walls, but made from sandstone.

11. Brick Walls

Made like regular walls, but made from brick.

12. Stone Brick Walls

Made like regular walls, but made from stone bricks.



Extras

1. Time Period Option

When creating a world, when hitting "More World Options..." there is a icon that says "Time Period" and you can pick "Past", "Present" or "Future". Past is old-tyme stuff like how Minecraft is currently. Present would be modern stuff + current Minecraft. Future would be Past+Present=Future. Like ray guns and teleporters. This would be totally wicked to some, yet totally horrid to others.
