Hello PMC! Wolfren back with another blog!

NovaSkin thumb frames...the blog section is filled with them. Not good. Here's why:

1. It looks lazy. Almost everyone on PMC can tell a NovaSkin thumb frame from a custom one. If you use a site-generated image you look lazy and people are less likely to read your blog. No thumb frame at all is almost better than using a NovaSkin thumb frame.

2. It's unoriginal. Those frames look the same. All of them. The most commonly used ones are tiring to see on blogs. An original, custom thumb frame gets more attention and attention is almost equal to views. For the sake of your blog use custom thumbs.

3. They just don't look good. Most of those renders that people use on NovaSkin aren't even that good or don't match the topic of the blog. They are disconnected from the blog topic and often look kinda ugly on the PMC blog format.

4. Mainstream. (I'm no hipster, but it is kinda over-used). The use of these frames is just far too often. The same 10 are frequently seen on the blog section, most commonly on the pop-reel. I want to see neat, custom and well-made thumb frames on the pop-reel. Wouldn't you, too?
