Day 1:

Starting out in a fresh new world, no more fancy houses, no more underground bases, it's time to start out like any other person would, and speaking of would, I nothing to write on right now but a piece of tree bark, don't mention how hard it is writing on bark with a rock.

Day 2:

Survived the night in a shelter I made in less than a hour. Now I have to go mining in a Shaft that I saw yesterday, I can't go down there...YET. Only when I have the perfect amount of gear.

Day: 5

Finally. After days of hard work and sweating, my new house has been constructed. I now have somewhere I can head to if it gets dark. It takes hours to finally come up with a good design for once. It still needs a bit of some work left, but a least it’s something I can head back too. I recently had to explore some nearby caves. I didn’t go too deep into the cave or else I wouldn’t be writing this right now. Food has been a recent struggle. I can barely find any animals in these woods, then again I can head out to find a Flat plain area so I can spot something and have food for the rest of the day. Before I end today’s diary, I want to express how lonely it is out here. My only interaction is with this wood I cut from a tree and wrote on. I’m not scared, but being by yourself in a world that seems to almost be infinite is mind boggling. Maybe there is something out there, I don’t know? Maybe I’m being carried away, whatever. I’m going to end it here and do some upgrades so that I tell you it has been. I won’t write a letter for a week or 2, so If see anything interesting I will definitely write it in here.

Day: 19

I’m back, and I finally upgraded my writing board to paper instead, and it’s a lot more easier, but before I tell you my new upgrades, some strange stuff happened a couple days ago at night. It all started when I headed back to my house. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but you can tell something was wrong. I heard something behind the house. It wasn’t anything crazy or weird, it was some animals dying. I heard them dying from a short distance away. I thought “maybe a wolf was attacking some sheep or something”, so I went to bed and turned out the lights, but the noise was horrible. It sounded like sheep and cows were screaming bloody murder, but it got even worse. I decided to investigate the place. Nothing, not anything in sight, no blood, no marks, no tracks, nothing. Maybe I was just imagining it, who knows? Anyway, let’s talk upgrades. In my last diary, I told how the house needs to be fixed up and be more fancy looking and that’s what I did. The entire house has new furniture, paintings, a lot of decorative stuff. I also installed some windows to see what’s outside, because that night kinda freaked me out a little and got me paranoid. I also have new mine not far from the house and it’s really doing well. I got some iron stuff as well so I can head out into the night without feeling weak. Not much else is there need to be said about today, just some upgrades and a weird event. I’m going to make my journals a little shorter now because I need to have extra time to do my work and make things a little more easier. I will be posting my journals a little more often though, so that I at least tell everything in a day in a short paragraph. Starting now.

Day: 20

Not much happened today. All that happened was I went mining for most the day and found some good stuff.

Day: 21

I’m starting to go insane now. I heard the same thing last night, cows and sheep dying. I decided this time I won’t look because I about to make myself some ear muffs so I can get through the night without hearing that sound again.

I don’t know how to explain this journal, all I have to say is that it’s bad, really bad. I went mining today, nothing out of the ordinary until I exit the mine. I see 2 white dots from a far distance, about 50 blocks away within the trees. I don’t know what it was, but it got me running back to my house as soon as possible. That’s when it happens. My entire house, filled with blood. Dead Sheep hanging from the ceiling, Cow guts spilled on the floor, and there was so much blood. I couldn’t clean it all up. I’m writing this journal right after I got into my room. My room wasn’t filled with that much blood or should I say “The least bloody”. It smells so bad, I can’t handle the smell, and to top all of that, WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO MY HOUSE.

Day: 24

I couldn’t sleep last night. Not because of the smell, but because of how paranoid I was. Those 2 dots I saw in the forest. What was that. All I know is that I’m not going back outside in while.

Day: 25

My house is has now been completely cleaned. I built myself a makeshift gas mask so I wouldn’t die from the awful smell of sheep and cow blood. I cleaned the in house in only a day. No breaks, no relaxing, no lie down, no naps, just cleaning up sheep guts and cow skin. I wonder, that noise I heard, was it that? The reason they disappeared when I walked to the location. No blood, no corpses, no tracks, nothing. But how could have someone done that without leaving tracks or small puddles of blood.

Day:26

I saw it again. The 2 white dots were again there, this time they were closer. I saw them out my window when I was doing some final cleaning. “It” was looking at me. Should I even call it “it”?

I’ll call it “The dots”. I know it’s not creative, but I literally can’t describe what it really is yet. All I have right now is 2 white dots.

What just happened? My journal was written by somebody else. How? It just looks like a bunch of scribblings, but I don’t know? Anyway, who wrote in my journal. Was it that 2 white dots. Maybe.

I...don’t know what I want to write.

Day: 36

It’s been more than a week since it happened. What am I talking about? It’s all gone. My entire house, gone. A fire took it down. It was lit with a flint & steel. How do I know? I was inside my house and it happened. I heard fire crackling downstairs. I rushed to see what it was, and there...I saw “The dots” fully. He was me, he looked the same as me, but with 2 white eyes. It was something I feared for weeks, I saw something that feared me. We looked right at each other. After that, my mind went blank. I wake up, and it’s all gone. My house gone. I decide to head north very far. So far from my current location. I walked chunks after chunks, day, night, walking and walking. I have nowhere to go. It’s best If I keep walking. Soon I’ll find a place where I can have peace and quiet. Can I have one day, just one day without walking, but I have to. I don’t know if “The dots” are going to kill me. Should I even call him “The Dots” anymore. I know what it looks like now. Me, but with 2 dots as eyes. I’m going to call him “Odd Eye”.

Day: 38

No sign of Odd Eye in a while. Am I too far? Why am I saying this? If Odd Eye is too far away, that’s a good thing. So why am I saying if I’m too far. For just in case reasons. I decide to keep walking. If I head north, maybe I might find a village.

Day: 39

Yes, and hope has found it’s way. Village in sight I say. I really shouldn’t be using riddles, but I’m so excited that I found a place that I can be at.

I haven’t wrote in my journal in a while I know. They rejected me after I told them something was chasing me. I’m done, I give up, Will Odd Eye win. Of course he will. I throw in the towel, I give up. I might as well, just give up on everything I worked up too this moment.

I headed back to the village, they recognized me and told me to leave, but I didn’t. I told them I have a plan. I have a plan to destroy this monster. It involves war. The villagers rejected my idea, but I refused. I told them giving up and standing up to your fears is going to make you brave, strong, and filled with courage. Backing down on opponents is never an option, you fight to you die. NO RETREAT, NO FALL BACK, WE DIE WITH BRAVERY. This is Odd Eyes worse nightmare. Can he even have nightmares? Oh yes he can. He’s our nightmare, and his nightmare is us.

Day: 51

After mining treacherous mines to find the most valuable of resources. Tomorrow is a day that will be told by many throughout this village. I gave a speech an hour ago. Everybody is determined, brave, strong, and is willing to give up their life, to save others. We attack at dawn, I don’t know if I can write a journal tomorrow. This maybe my final journal, but at least I get to go out with a bang. My final words in this journal are “Staying strong with your fears gives you a better chance of winning over those fears, giving up is whole other story”.

<Afterwards>
Steve and the army of villagers found Odd Eye, but not just him, but his army of undead. A battle like known other was taken place. The battle was 50/50. The undead started to retreat, leaving Odd Eye by himself. Steve who was incredibly Injured, had one last chance to take out his rival. Odd Eye was wounded and injured as well. Steve Launched his Sword into Odd Eye’s chest, killing him. Steve crawled into the forest by himself and sat up against a tree. He later died from his injuries. The tree was marked as a burial ground for true heroes who fought they opponent's head on. True Heroes needed the respect, they learned from the first true hero, Steve.
