I am so sick of seeing Herobrines, Steves, Endersteves, Enderbrines, Stevobrines, and Teens with Creeper Hoodies and Headsets that are Supposed to Be "Cute"! I'm also sick of noise barf skins that come in any and all colors! I'm not trying to advertise my skin, I'm using it as an example. Notice the Herobrine on the left. All someone did was take the char.png, white out the eyes, and scribble bright red pixels all over it to be blood. I made both of these, but I didn't save the Herobrine, because it's JUNK! Look at the right skin. That's supposed to be Mega Man. Not shaded at all, not even noise, but you have to admit it took more effort.

Good skins take a few hours, in fact, to make. With the limited pixels, it's hard to make a masterpiece in half an hour without misshading it.
