Hai! So I have decided to make a series or something about servers I like or don't like. I'll be reviewing servers and be giving them a star rating out of 5 stars. Like hotels I guess XD
Server: HC Server

Reason:
I really like HC Server. I have been playing on it for a long time. It has Creative, Survival, Factions, PvP... You know, the general public server stuff. The spawn and hub is very good, the plots are a decent size on the creative server, and they staff are very nice (to my knowledge) and it isn't normally laggy or anything.
The people are nice on the server, but it's not really the server for people of age 14 and over, because you do get kids as young as 7 playing on it, so expect roleplays and amateur building skills. I do not recommend this to someone over the age of 14, purely because it can become very annoying having smaller kids bothering you.
Arguments are easily begun, and players will have builds such as 'dating centers' and 'adoption centers'. However, these things are only really experienced on the Creative Server, so perhaps the other games/genres of game play on the server are better for you.
The other worlds on the server are very good, but worlds like the faction world are very beaten up, and there isn't a lot of space to build any bases or anything, but to be fair, in a factions server you should really make a base either high in the sky or hidden deep underground.
For any of you builders out there who build very large structures, this server isn't really for you. The plots are a decent size, but aren't really enough to build cities and towns. They're 75 by 75 I believe, but I may be wrong. The server chat on the creative server works using commands. To shout a message to everyone on the Creative Server, you have to do /y and then your message. If you don't do /y, you will just talk in local. I do like the /y feature, because you do have to wait around 2 or 3 minutes for your next /y and it does prevent spam, but sometimes I think the interval between shouts is a little too long and could be shortened a little.
Overall, I believe that this server is ideal for people under the age of around 14. On the other hand, it does have many faults, and I think the /modreq command is overused, and also, I think the /modreq command should also be responded to much quicker. I understand staff can't be permanently on the server, but at least try to respond to /modreq commands, unless they happen to be absolutely pathetic. Nevertheless, HCserver can be perfect for certain people, but if you are more mature, it'll probably not be the best place for you to play. That is the main reason why I gave HCserver 3 stars out of 5.
