Goodbye Minecraft Classic.



Now this isn't anything new but for me it is. I wanted to go onto Minecraft classic like the good old times, but I found out that it's officially not supported. It just upsets me that Mojang no longer supports this. Back during the boom of Minecraft classic (2010 when I got an account) my cousin and I used to always FaceTime on our old iPod touches and play Minecraft classic together. We'd troll, grief and other fun stuff because we had fun (no I am not supporting grieving..) Point is, we had lots of fun on classic together. We met other people on servers and connected with them on Skype. It was truly fun times... But ever since Minecraft progressed and was switched to Jeb (not hating on Jeb), classic slowly dispersed..

I think if Mojang kept classic still to this day, even more people would be interested as to buying Minecraft. Before I bought my Minecraft account in 2010, I played classic. Classic brought me to love the nostalgic part of Minecraft. Classic was also fun because there were a variety of servers that anyone could run, even if you didn't have a account. People had plugins for portals, you could create separate worlds, have earthquakes and floods. I think that's the best part of classic, the nostalgia of it. If Mojang kept it, it would not only make someone encouraged to buy the full game, but satisfy people who enjoy the original vanilla aspect of Minecraft.

All I wish is for Mojang to at least bring back the fun of Minecraft. Now this is only my opinion, you don't have to agree but I just wish something like this was still on. It gave a lot of people original creative ideas during this old era of Minecraft, so why shut the whole thing down? I wonder why they shut it down, Mojang has a lot of money after all. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone. I hope you guys all understand the loss of Minecraft Classic haha

There still is a way to play Minecraft Classic. If you were playing on MCDzienny servers or had a server on that software there was a message that would pop up telling you to switch over to a diff client before they removed it. Do you recall that message? If not I can tell you how to play it still if you're interested. It's a small community especially since not everyone who misses Classic is aware of it.

Haha That's okay ^^ Minecraft Classic is a old free version of minecraft avaliable for people to play if they haven't bought minecraft in full. They had a multiplayer for minecraft classic which was fun for people to get on. :D

Not really sure but I know the java problem/plugin :(
For one though, you need a old version of chrome to work. It's because the new version/current version disabled a plugin. I tried to fix that by enabling it but it still wouldn't work :/ Even the mod for flying/speedhacking which would connect you to classic servers don't work. 

Sorry XD Much words. Such sorrow.

If you care to learn my story, I was only 11 when I heard about minecraft lmao Everyone talked about and I first thought it wasn't great until I played classic on servers like sky block or gothborg5's server. I frequently played with my cousin (daily Lmao) Minecraft made me connect more with my cousin ever since I moved. So we're like bros now haha. I grew to always going on minecraft classic daily, almost a addiction because I never had anything to do being 11. I became an admin on gothborgs server, and you can find a video of the server on youtube funny enough. I met one of my best friends and still best friends on gothborg. I used to create maps and mess with comands on them for fun. I soon got really fast with commands that I made custom maps for the staff haha One of my friends from that server, and is quite popular on here is Tunika. You can find him in my friends list or just search his name under members, but he brought me to this site. I think that if he never had done that... Well I would have never made blogs and have fun doing what I like on here. It opened my mind to the internet. Anyways haha thats my story. 

Edit: after reading my story and everyone else's, I reaally miss minecraft classic >.>

after my friend showed me this strange game called "minecraft" I searched it up and started playing classic I played for three months until I bought the full game freaking loved classic so sad it doesn't work anymore.
