Sculklings

Here is one last concept for a hypothetical MC mob that I like talking about for today. I hope you enjoy reading this ^ ^

Sculking

Health: 80 HP (40 ❤️)
Speed: 25 SP when passive, 80 SP max when hostile.
Damage: 15 HP (7.5 ❤️) melee, 4 HP (2 ❤️) from bite, 8 HP (4 ❤️) sustained by soul particles from Staff, and 10-24 HP (5-12 ❤️) from Staff Blast Projectiles.
Behavior Class: Neutral (Passive when out of range of Sculk Shriekers, Hostile when 2 Shriekers go off or attacked).
Drops: Sculk Catalyst, any item and armor picked up, and 150 EXP Orbs.
Category: Monster, Mage, Sculk Family.

Sculkings are small, blind mages that spawn naturally in Igneous Caverns and some Ancient Cities. They are among the few mobs that can be traded with and do sidequests with the player (Villagers, Gnomes, NPCs, and Piglins being the others), and are 1.2 blocks tall, 1 block wide in terms of size. They can equip any weapon, grab items, and can place/remove blocks and farm when Passive. The currency of Sculkings are diamonds, which are used to trade for valuable items, and whatever the Sculking gives in return is randomized and a unknown to the player until the diamonds are paid. That is, if the Sculkings are passive and not in the Deep Dark. Similarly to Wardens, they navigate areas using their hearing, touch, and smell, though unlike Wardens, they can exit the Deep Dark and would lose their aggression if hostile prior to exiting.
When a Sculking enters the Deep Dark, or when someone encounters a Sculking within an Ancient City, they can be turned hostile when attacked or the player creates any vibrations after getting to Warning Level 2. If the Player does not trigger any more shriekers and the Warning Level goes down to 1 and 0, the Sculkings would resume passive behavior unless if the Player had attacked them earlier. Sculkings that generate within Ancient Cities spawn with special, Soul Staffs that can conjure particles and spear-like projectiles to harm the player, as well as being able to pick up any weapon and use it against the player. Additionally, if a Player were to attack a Sculking enough times, they would try to bite the Player while growling and give the player a poison-like status effect that depletes a player's health as long as they are in the Deep Dark and drains the EXP gained/"Life Energy" (if they bite another mob, said mob would be turned to its Sculk Variant that can then be commanded with their staff). If a Sculking were to be killed, they would drop any item and armor they held upon death and a Sculk Catalyst would place itself on the ground to use the dropped EXP to expand the Sculk by a few blocks.

Notes
  1. Sculkings were originally called Vamplings and had a secondary connection to Splatoon. This was later removed due to them breaking the lore/ground rules of both worlds (and wanting to keep to one world for them).
  2. Other names for Sculkings include the Shade, Spirit Mages, Soul Vampires, and Sculk Children.
