(Moderator, if exterior links are against the rules, please notify me and I'll change it within 24 hours. Thanks.)
This server is well set out, to the point that if you get stuck and call an moderator, get ready to be bombarded by "Yes?"
this server is one of the most friendly servers I've seen, and I've seen a lot of servers.
when a player first joins, they have the rank of "[new user]", after playing for what the owner considers a fair amount of time, their rank is changed to "[user]", and then "[member]"
New users and users cannot break blocks, open chests or teleport. stopping people who:
come to the server the Grief.
Come to this server and steal.
not reading the rules.
once a user becomes a member, they have the option of becoming a website, which unlocks new commands.
they then become a noble, which has some rather amusing commands, then a trusted, which gains more commands. ranging from jumping great heights, to placing blocks on your head, and even getting drunk. this server is designed with the word "Fun" in mind.
the server hosts more than 15 towns that a player can choose to live in, with the option of creating a town.
The site has a website, and interestingly enough doesn't even ask for donations. there is no VIP, which is something i love about server. VIP is just a cheap way of getting money, owners who can't be arsed with college or work...
with multiple worlds, including the nether (soon to come), the End (also still in work), a Role Playing world (in making too) A survival world, a creative world, and the standard world, if your bored, then your not on TechCraft.
All in all, i give this server a 9/10.
i think the owner did a great job, however, he perhaps, put too much into this server, there are too many towns, and very few people get turned down for staff when they apply. however the server it's self has not been fully finished yet, as i was told, and will be open fully when all the worlds are in place.
This one's due an update!
So here's my update (New shiny picture and all!)
TechCraft is now a reasonably dead server, afte reviewing it, I played it for a while, 4 years actually.
I loved it. I still do. Staff come on, building's are still inspirable and viable.
and the owner himself never lost faith.
Sadly, with the missing community, it just isn't the same.
however, as a member of this once great community, I'll say this;
Nothing could ever have been quite memorable as burying my pet pig outside Gorn. Or building a Russian Remake gone VERY wrong on a worldedited platform. Only to turn it all into sand and crumble it.
I hope this server regains popularity. Truly I do.
However as it stands, now I'm doing to have to drop the rating.
Sorry Tech's - 3/10 - dead community, but still playable and mildly sociable with moderators.
