First Steps:

- After you join the world

You need to do some basic minecraft

1. Find trees, cut them down to get Logs

2. With the wood of the trees, craft a crafting table

Wood - (any type) wooden planks, To get wooden planks put any type of (any type) Log in the crafting grid, then craft the crafting table:

3. craft tools:

- Wooden Pickaxe

Stick - to craft sticks put 2 wooden planks into the crafting grid one under the other

4. Go Mining for stone

why stone? Stone is the upgrade of wood, with the stone Tools you can mine faster and with Stone Pickaxe these blocks: Iron Ore, Lapis Ore

5. "Get an Upgrade"

You probably will need to craft these tools to help you destroy/mine blocks faster


6. Create a home

After you got these tools, you will need to mine stone or cut down trees to get resources. so you can start building your House/Shelter/Base. 

You will need to do this, so you can survive your first nights.
Also it is recomended you to create a bed and put it on your house, so you can skip the night faster and/or set your spawnpoint there.
BED:

Wool can be obtained either by shiering or killing sheeps.
How to shear a sheep:
Right click the sheep with Shears will give you 1-4 wool

Iron Ingots can be obtained by smelting Iron Ore in a Furnace
As i mentioned above you need to go mining to get Ores

6.1 Using Torches

    In Minecraft Torches are really important. Because You can use them for so many things

There are some uses of them
- Light up a place so you can see
- Going caving (In Orded to see + Mobs Won't Spawn in The Light up area)
- Mobs Won't Spawn in The Light up area
- Decoration
- Marking Location
- And Much more

Coal/Charcoal

Stick

Charcoal is made by smelting Logs in a Furnace

7. Geared Up

You will need more protection if you happend to go fight mobs.
You can make armor and/or upgrade your tools
Basic Armor - Leather


Minecraft Armor's Posiotion from worst to best:
Leather (Full set 7 Points)- > Gold (Full set 11 Points) - > Chain (Full set 11 Points, Can't be crafted) - > Iron  (Full set 15 Points)- > Diamond (Full set 20 Points)

7.1 Iron Upgrade

With Iron you can create tools/weapons/armors that are the second the best in the game.



8. Diamonds!

Diamonds are the best materials and most valuable items in the game, With them you can create Armors/Tools/Weapons and decoration.
In order to Achive diamonds you will need to go mining deeper at "y = 0 - 16" (You can see your "y" By Presing F3)


Also You can mine Diamonds only either with Iron or Diamond Pickaxe.
With Diamonds you can also craft enchanting tables so you can enchant your tools/weapons/armors so they gain some powerfull enchantments.
Enchanting Table:

Obsidian can be created using lava and water.
To break Obsidian You need Diamond Pickaxe. (Takes a while to break)
Books can be obtained by breaking bookshelfs from villages or crafting them using paper and leather.

Sugar Cane can be found by searching around your world, it is common to find so don't worry.

9.The Nether

What is the Nether? The Nether is a World called "Hell" There are some Screenshots of it:
Why you need the Nether ?

For some things.

First if you want unlimited Lava Here you go :D

If you are a builder you can mine "Quartz ore" to create "Quartz Blocks" to decorate, also you can smelt "Netherrack" to get "Nether Brick" which after that can be crafted in "NetherBricks".

Other Important things in The Nether are the "Fortress"

Fortress are Giant Structures which can be found only in The Nether and they aren't so common to find.

Inside this Structures you can fight "Zombie Pigmants" (I wouldn't), "Wither Skeletons" (You can get "Wither Skulls" to create a boss called "The Wither") and most importantly "Blazes", why blazes ? Inside these Structures there are some "Spawners" (Block which spawns a shown "Mob/Entity") so you can create "Blaze Farms and XP Farms".

Also there are some chests with loot, in the "Fortress's" Stairs there are plants called "Nether Wart" (Used for brewing Potions).

10. The End

After you have done all these steps you are prety much done, and now able to survive.
(Time for the Bosses)
There are for now 3 Minecraft Bosses
- Elder Guardian (Found in Underwater Temples)

- The Wither (Created by placing blocks in this formation)
 3 Layer = [Wither Head][Wither Head][Wither Head]
 2 Layer =       [Soul Sand][Soul Sand][Soul Sand]
 1 Layer =                             [Soul Sand]
You have to put the blocks one above the other
About "The Wither" - [He has 2 Phases]
1- Flying around (Bow is recommended)
After "The Wither" is in half of his HP he goes to Phased 2
2- Meele/Close Fight (Sword is Recommended)

Now is time for the Biggest Boss
- The EnderDragon (A Dangerous Creature which lives in the Dimensions called "The End")
- "The End" (Before 1.9) Was 1 Island with Obsidian Towers, on top of which there are "EnderCrystals". These "EnderCrystals" are source of Enderdragon's Regeneration and must be destroyed before the battle with the "EnderDragon". (After 1.9 There are more than 1 islands)
(How to go to "The End")
You will need to do 10 things:
1 - Kill alot of "Endermen" to get alot of enderpearls
2 - Kill alot of "Blazes" to get alot of Blaze Rods, and then create Blaze Powder
3 - Craft "Eye of Enders" with these 2 ingridiants
4 - Get Prepared with a good Equipment
5 - Things you must have: Diamond Sword, Power 3-5 Bow, Food, Full Diamond/Iron Set, {For 1.9 Get Pickaxe so you can mine the protected "EnderCrystals"}
6 - Have Fun Time Exploring and searching for the dungeon called "Stronghold" - Each World has 3 of them {In 1.9 125 of them}
[Strongholds] - can be found by "Eye of Enders". Right Click one of them it will fly away and continiusly do that until you find the place.
7 - Have 12 "Eye of Enders" left or ready to use them on the "End Portal" (You Probably don't need excacty 12)
8 - There is no way back, unless... You kill the "Ender Dragon".
9 - Don't forget you will be in a flying island so be carrefull not to fall off
10 - Emm, Watch out for "Endermen". Good Luck
