Take a look at that link. J!NX is letting us pre-order the brand new LEGO Minecraft set!
What it is is a "Micro World". It's tiny, made primarily with 1x1 flat tiles, and built in quarters. The quarters can be put together any way you please.
The model itself looks like any old Minecraft world. Covered in sand, dirt, lava, water, stone, natural caves, and all that good stuff.But it's tiny. I mean tiny.
Really damn tiny.
Not even normal minifigs can fit on that. It's so small, they had to make our hero out of 4 1x1 flat bricks that the grass is made up of, and one tall 1x1 block. That's damn small. But don't get me wrong, though it is pretty tiny, it looks like fun. Best of all, it includes a little Creeper made of two tall 1x1 blocks and one 1x2 flat piece.
Seeing as it's made out of LEGOs, it can be taken apart and put together any way you like. Hell, you could make a shack out of stone blocks in place of the wood blocks they gave you to make it. Or you could get rid of that river and gather some sand blocks at the corner and make a beach. The possibilities are endless!
So, overall, it's not bad. It's pretty similar to Minecraft in the way you can play with it, but I expected it to be a lot bigger. Though I expected it to be a bit larger, the mini world really isn't bad. It let's LEGO present the Minecraft world without it being way too complex or large. You could buy loads of them, put 'em together, and have your little Steve march around though 'em. I really hope to see more LEGO Minecraft sets and more "Minecraft modules" made, because there is just so much not yet covered in Minecraft by this one mini set. The Nether, The End, the loads of biomes and mobs not in this set, the list is huge.

It's adorable and looks like loads fun. Both loving LEGO and Minecraft, I'm definitely going to buy one or two of these.
