Although I got away with skipping last weeks blog, this week will not be the same. This week we have some more Minecraft Live related news, as well as some PMC news relating to the TallOrNone war, and the beginning of a clone war with people using the PFP of long-time user LegendarySi.
Starting off with the new MCL update, this was supposed to be mentioned a while ago, but has been prolonged up until now because there was too little to make a story on. Sorry for that. However now that some more research has been done, we are now able to talk about the new MCL update.
Although MCL was pronounced dead back a few issues, and update has been announced. The update promises a new ally, that being the Witch, and a new mount. That being the frog. The frog will likely be at home in swamps and will have quite good jumping abilities. The Witch on the other hand will help other mobs on your team and will likely spawn in villages. There was also the mention of a new Piglin variant. That being the Piglin Clanger. The Clanger appears to be tall and has some basic golden armour like the other Piglin variants. It holds two gold items, that will likely make noise, and maybe work similar to the shockpowder from MCD.
Alongside said Piglin is a new structure. The structure is like a windmill and will push mobs away from it periodically. In the video, it was shown around what appears to be a Horde of the Spore base. And may be exclusive there.
The TallOrNone war was started by Silabear. He was also mentioned earlier he wants to perhaps become a monarch again. This was endorsed by illager. The was rather short lived, though. Ending before it was even a month old. Silabear also was forced to ban user Stormy. Silabear made a wall post on it, claiming "We hate to ban popular members, but sometimes they go way too far and we have to step in with the greater community in mind." It's sad to see him go.
illager's PMC birthday is coming, on November eleventh. He has planned to release a blog on his progress, and his life on the site,
I/we are sorry for this paper being short this week. Ther is very little to report on, and I/we do not wish to make stories oit of nothing. Thank you for your continued support on the newspaper though!
