The year was 2018, and I had just started playing Minecraft. I was building a small dirt noob house, when out of nowhere, a loud sound played, and a painting (though it was a book at the time) appeared in my inventory. Not knowing that I would regret this decision, I placed the painting on the wall. It looked like a portal of some kind, so I walked in. When I walked in, it was some sort of maze, with wool floor, some block that did not exist in the game for the walls, and sea lanterns for the lights. The most notable thing, was that the walls were some sort of 1980s office wallpaper colored a dull Yellow. Not knowing I would encounter something later on, I walked forwards. After walking for 1 minute, the lights in the complex were broken by an invisible force, and I heard something that left me shook. I heard my own voice calling out for help,, and screaming loudly. When I looked back, I saw a tall lanky figure standing there. And it looked exactly like my Minecraft skin that I made before playing.The figure had a huge gaping mouth, and no eyes. Without warning, it lunged at me. I could’ve sworn I saw its head come out of my computer screen.
