Hello everyone,
I am only the grand old age of 13, but have always and probably will always be thinking of this topic. Why do we like gaming, violence and getting rewarded for it? Is it the gore, the level of xp or the way you can play with friends and even connect with a complete stranger? Maybe a famous Youtuber plays it or someone next door or in your class. But Science must be driving you to do these actions...?

I have decided to explore the physcology of Gaming!

1. What are the postives of gaming?
Spoiler - The Good
Video Games reduces stress and depression.
Imrpoves Pre Schoolers' motor skills.
Provide pain relief
Improve vision
Keep you happy in 'old' age

2. What are the negatives of gaming?
Spoiler - The Bad
Possible 'social isolation' because they just play by them selves.
Video Games can potray women as weak
Overly Violent/Gory
Confuse reality & fantasy
Interfere with schooling and academic performance

3. The verdict
Now after reviewing this evidence I am sure some of it comes as no suprise but you may have not known other things. Now I am sure if I said gaming was bad I would cause an uproar (this is a gaming website) but I love gaming and I am sure you do to!

There are many postives and negatives to gaming. There is also a phisical aspect such as posture, lack of sleep etc. But I think that gaming in general is healthy when balanced with phisical activity, school, family and friends!

Peace,
