So are you tired of getting griefed all the time? Putting in hours of work, even days and its all gone in an instant? Well, turn out it might just be your fault (please no hate, read on).

I'm guessing your base was either: close to spawn, in plain view, its cords were known by someone other than you, you built it in plain sight. Doing all of the above might be ok on whitelisted server but if you are on a massive faction server, just a normal faction server or vanilla serve (especially vanilla servers) you might just want to build some were else.

When building you base/house on a populated server or vanilla server please avoid building close to spawn as it will get griefed quite easily, even if it is underground (x-ray). Also avoid building in plain sight and on a direct line from spawn. As it is more likely to get griefed. Instead of doing the above, walk in a diagonal line away from spawn (usually people don't do this), build your house out of view (either underground or in a dense jungle/forest) and PLEASE don't give your coordinates to anyone (unless you really trust them.) This is probably the number one reason people get griefed. They just give there cords away.

Also Remember to close your Nether Portal after using it! Griefers can easily get to your base through the nether!

Thanks for reading! This was just a quick bog, I hope you enjoyed it and have an excellent day!

I normally travel about 20,000 blocks from spawn in the over world. Then some griefer uses the nether to get there and griefs my medieval village D:. Nice blog though!
