things to do when starting a server

Hello! So I started a server a few days ago and have learned some important things. I would like to share this knowledge with you as to help your server experience go smoother than mine.
1. DO NOT post your server on pmc until it has a spawn area. many people log on then off again 'cus your server looks boring.
2. never op people who ask for op. They will blow stuff up
3. hook up a vote for rewards system as soon as possible.
4. don't beg for donations. Ever, it is really annoying.
I messed up and no one is joining my server... so I hope you have more luck than me
