Spleef, a game where you and many other players go head to head against each other trying to knock the snow from under each other’s feet. This game can be a great and fun game, if you are winning. It can also be a really bad and frustrating game if you keep falling into the gap. Therefore, I have decided to put together this blog to help you with this game. Here are some tips and tricks to help you survive and maybe even win. The key thing to getting good at Spleef is practice. However, a few things will help improve your skills.

Tips:

1. Keep moving. If you stand still, other players can come up and knock you out without you getting much time to react.

2. Don’t walk backwards. If you walk backwards, other players can get behind you and knock out the blocks from under you or a little behind you and you may not notice, and fall in.

3. Sprint when possible. The best way to avoid being knocked out is to sprint, this gives you more speed and more chance of getting away from another player who maybe be following you.

4. Keep looking behind you. You need to keep an eye on who is behind you. The best way to do this is to keep walking/sprinting, but not to walk backwards, so change the view of your character to view the front of them, and then look in the background, but only do this for at most a few seconds, so you do not fall into another gap. Then change the view back to normal. The default key for this is “F5”.

Tricks:

1. Jump over lots of gaps. By jumping over gaps where there are no blocks, you are making it more difficult for someone who maybe following you.

2. Make gaps bigger. After jumping over gaps, turn around quickly and dig out some blocks from the gap you just jumped, making the gap harder to jump over, especially for anyone who is right behind you.

3. Change your path. Keep changing directions to make it more difficult for someone to follow you.

4. Take harder paths. If you are being followed, especially if the other player is right behind you, go to somewhere where there are many gaps and somewhere you need to jump a lot.

5. Don’t attack. Just keep running until you are one of the very few players remaining, and then start trying to knock out other players. This gives you more chance of surviving.

I hope this helps, please leave a comment to help me know if it does help. If it didn’t, still leave a comment to say what didn’t help or make sense.

If everyone follows Rule 5, they would be locked in a never ending battle. The portal between worlds would collapse.. reality would cease to exist.

It's a trick, not a rule, so you do not have to follow it. Anyway, in every match, there is usually someone running around trying to knock someone out. However, if no one is attacking, then of course you should start digging. Sorry it was not clear enough.
