{TIPS ON}---HIDING YOUR CHEST---{MULTIPLAYER}

Okay, okay, so you're playing on a factions server. You put some gold in a chest hidden inside your faction base, and then log off to fly a kite. (idk) But when you come back on, it's gone! Sure, the thief generously left behind that wooden hoe and those rotten pieces of flesh, but all of your gold and diamonds are... gone! You could've sworn they were hidden!

Me too.

It's happened to everybody. After lots of times, however, I've discovered some tips on how to hide your chest.

Step One: What kinda' faction do you have?
-----If your faction is well-established and/or has 20+ or so members, then try and dig maybe underneath and put your chest there. I don't fully recommend just placing your stuff in the faction storage since some members may be able to take your things. HOWEVER, you should probably stay within faction limits so that (most of) your enemies can't open your chests. Make sure to read the text below, though, because you can use some of those strategies too.
-----If your faction has been recently made and/or has less then 20 members, then DON'T put your chest in your faction. Small factions can become easy targets for large factions and believe me: they will find your chest. So I would recommend going very far away from the faction, digging a 5-15 block-deep hole, and placing your chest there. Make sure to set home or, if desperate, set a warp there. If you set a warp, make sure to set it as something BORING and you would probably just want to set it NEARBY your actual chest.
