In 1910, the plans were layed out, everything ready. All there was left to build it.
Side by side, Olympic and Titanic were built. Many lives were lost, millions of rivets, only around 2000 people working. It took 2 years to complete. This is the story of the titanic.

Titanic was the biggest man-made moving object in the world at its time. It was beautiful and cost millions of pounds (Dollars). It was fitted with the best, most expensive furniture there was. The Titanic only had 2 test drives but it succeeded the standards, with perfection. On April 10th, Titanic set sail on its first, and last sail.

On April 12th, 1912 at roughly 11:30pm, the Titanic hit an Ice-Berg and sunk at roughly 2:20am on April 13th. The titanic was built with 15 water-tight bulkheads and was meant to survive when only 5 bulkheads were flooded, but in this case at-least 12 were breached. The designer of the ship looked at the damage and instantly knew she would sink.

Titanic weighed 46,328 GRT (52,310 tons) and length-wise was 882 ft 6 in (269.0 m). The RMS Titanic was owned by a company named White Star Line and many after the sinking of Titanic, the White Star Line closed selling all of their ships for scraps. Titanic had 9 decks and carried 2,223 passengers. 1,514 Passengers died. Titanic was also registered in Liverpool, England (where I live!) and set sail from New Hampshire.

Its been 100 years since it sunk, and all passengers are dead. May they all Rest In Peace.
