I know this is all you could pretty much put into Minecraft, but at least I explained how they change the game! Mojang confirmed that they will add Official Mod Support at some time too.

The new terrain generation uses actual real world logic (No more snow beaches) so Im looking forward to that. I think new weapons and a new sword combat system (like parrying and such) and an enchantment that make the bow draw faster would really improve the game.

Red dragon was never confirmed, and no dev progress has been related to it other than the (more than a year ago) statement of "It's a little too complex". Also, it was stated to be tamable, and a ride-able mob, not a boss.
