Blocks
I would like to see some new ores, such as saphire, topaz, and maybe even bring back rubies. I would also like to see some furniture added into the game. It would also be a good idea to add in some compressed blocks, for inventory space.

Items
I would like to have a backpack in the game, for more inventory space (I just said that exact same thing above lol). This would help out a lot for people who have been in a mineshaft for quite a while. I would like to see some tools for the new stones that are coming into the game. It would be nice to finally have some new tools to use.

Gamemodes
There has been a gamemode that Mojang was going to add, but never did, which was Capture the flag mode. I would like to see something like this in Vanilla Minecraft. Just saying

Commands
There may be a whole bunch of new stuff added for commands, but shouldnt we get commands like stuff to change a player's camera view? This could be very helpful for map makers who want to do something cool.

Gameplay
I would like to see bedrock breakable, and allowing a new layer. (The next unbreakable block being under that layer of course =P) One of the new ores could be found on the stone layer, which would be required to break bedrock, with all the other new ores in the bedrock layer.
