Minecraft 1.8 Update
Hey all Minecraft players! Today I have blog for the upcoming 1.8 update! In this blog Io ll give you a list of what Mojang may add in the next update and also what I believe will be the update theme.
So leto s get started first thing on the list.
1. More music will be added to the game including music tracks for the Nether and End.
2. The games rendering engine will be rewritten decreasing lag, but older computers will have to use a sort of fallback to allow them to run Minecraft.
3. Video recording software may be added to Minecraft to make it easier to record and upload videos.
4. An option to set a limit in world generation ex. set your world to a 1000 block radius.
5. More animals could be added like: fish (that you can see in the water), tree creatures, birds, and more.
6. Jeb said on twitter that he is thinking of adding seasons to Minecraft with 500 days in a year.
7. Mojang may also make it possible for players to change their Minecraft username.
8. Dinnerbone mentioned he would like to enable the removal of enchantment (maybe through an anvil).
Pretty cool isno t it? Now on to the second part of the blog, this is my opinion of what I think the theme will be and what will be added in 1.8.
First off I think the theme will be adding Minecraft seasons. I have wanted an update like this for a while now and would love it if it was added. The things that would be added would be a year with 200 days, making 50 day seasons. The seasons of course would be spring, summer, fall, and winter. In each season the color of leaves and grass would change and unique things would happen in each season.
In spring it would rain more often, crops would grow faster, color of grass and leaves would get lighter, and days would be 10 minutes with light and 10 minutes of darkness.
For summer it would hardly rain, days would get longer, 13 minutes of day light and 7 minutes of night, the color of leaves and grass would get a little bit greener, and forests would have the chance of catching fire.
In fall the days would get shorter, 10 minutes of day time and 10 minutes of night, grass and leaf color would grow darker, you would be able to find piles of leaves on the ground, leaves could fall like rain or snow but with a leaf animation, and it would take longer for crops to grow.
Finally for winter you would not be able to grow any crops, the days would get shorter and there would only be 7 minutes of daylight and 13 minutes of darkness. It would snow a lot. When it snowed, snow golems would spawn, and ice would form on ponds.
