I've recently noticed something a bit odd in minecraft which I have began to question. Every potion or substance in a bottle can be consumed in Minecraft except for one: The XP Bottle. I found it strange how we drink potions to get effects while we have to physically break XP bottles to gain anything from them.
      So then I started thinking, what if we could use xp bottles like regular potions? In most games, other than minecraft, things like xp bottles act as mana potions; used for magical powerups and spells and such. This, in a sense, is the same as xp bottles because they give the power to enchant items. But here the difference is that one is consumed while the other is smashed on the ground and collected.
      That leads to the idea of what would happen if you drank one. For most potions in Minecraft they give you special effects like invisibility or regeneration. So I believe that idea might follow with the xp bottles with one of 3 possibilities happening. Number one, you might get double the amount of xp from the bottle. Number two, you might have an xp boost for a certain amount of time that gives you more xp on drops and mining, fishing, kills, etc. Or Number three, it gives you some sort of special power, like a god apple, to make over powered enchants or use special skills. Either way the idea of what would happen if you consumed an xp bottle is quite astonishing.
