I may just be seeing an elephant in a flea, but there seems to be an overwelming amount of so called "Popular" skins that have symbols in there names!

Why do I think people do it?
I think the main reason people do the symbols is for eye grabbing. I guess it makes your skin's name look fancier if it has hearts and spades and checks and stuff? I don't know for sure, but thats my hypothesis.

Why does it bother me?
Funny reason; I'm a perfectionist, and I think that either everyone should have symbols or no-one should. But thats just my OCDness

What do you guys think?
I'll put the most interesting opinions here; on both sides. Be creative, and persuade, don't just tell me I'm dumb, or I'm jealous, or something like that!

Disclaimer;
I'm not faulting any of the artists here, far from that, in fact, I'm just trying to voice my opinion, and not force it on others. So props to you guys for making awesome skins!

With those spoilers I expected some laps of text. Not under each 2 rows of text. So the spoilers are a bit unneeded. Just a empty row and the title bold should do the trick.

Other than that, I keep out of this discussion. I rarely venture towards the skin section.

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

No, I'm saying that I may be seeing a bigger issue that there really is...

And it's usually just the name of the person who uploaded it... You know, in case we couldn't tell.

I'll give it this much. It IS more eye grabbing when you're seeing standard text for a while then suddenly someone uses unusual characters in the name of something. But with my incredibly  higher sense of judgemental expectations, I'm not too quick to give a diamond or favorite for most stuff unless I see traits that I want to see more of. From color, to shapes, to things something is based on.

I honestly don't think most people would consider using symbols unless they particularly want to grab attention, where as I'd search by a specific thing and look over the thumbnail previews for something coming along closer to what I had in mind.

Personally, I'd rather use generic characters and let my works themselves do the talking.
