Why would god want us to worship him? We do not speak his language and we are but tiny things to him. It is like having a group of ants worshiping you, they can't talk to you and they are but small things. Why would you want them to worship you if they could not talk to you? You might step on them and one would die, then you would feel bad because they worshiped and revered you. This is my point of view on this.
