I can't get the furnace part working for the mud bricks. Is this due to me trying to use this in 1.18 or does this not work in 1.17 either?

Nevermind, figured out what I was doing wrong:

DO NOT DO what my post above did. You need to DROP (physically drop) exactly 4 mud on the top face of the furnace block. After they are there you then have to cook something ELSE in the furnace just to light it. Like say put 1 coal in for fuel, then put 1 log in as if you are about to turn it to charcoal, after you do that, the furnace will light to cook the log. It will consume the coal, but will not consume the log. You can take the log out right away to stop it from turning into charcoal and keep your log. This will not stop the furnace from being lit.



After all that, just wait 10 seconds and the dropped mud blocks will magically turn into mud bricks.

I don't know why but I'm really struggling to install this datapack for some reason. All other datapacks have been fine. I've tried dropping the archive from the download entirely, the folder inside of the archive, I've tried archiving the folder from the archive as it's own and uploading it, I've tried making a world and opening the datapacks folder and dropping it in there afterwards with a /reload but nothing seems to be working, any suggestions? I'm on 1.17.1
