This is an update of Tetrajack's datapack to make it work in version 1.18 and presumably beyond.

Every time you combine items to repair them or merge enchantments in Minecraft, there is a hidden value assigned to that item that increases the XP cost with each anvil use. After a few anvil uses, your item will be listed as "TOO EXPENSIVE" to repair or merge. This is frustrating and not fun at all, so this datapack aims to remove that feature.

Items in your inventory will always* have their repair cost reset to the minimum, which is great if, say, you're combining a bunch of level 1 enchanted books in that awesome Altar Enchanting Overhaul datapack or something. Or, if you just have a favorite tool that you want to keep repairing forever.

*If the repair cost still seems really high, try dropping the item and picking it back up again, sometimes that helps.
