Linzi's Enchanting Overhaul offers a complete overhaul of the vanilla enchanting system in three parts: New Enchanting Process, Custom Enchantments, and Legendary Loot.
This datapack allows you to enchant books using magic ingredients and a lapis lazuli altar! Simply throw down an unenchanted book, a lapis lazuli, and a magic ingredient of your choice on top of a lapis floor. The datapack will transform these ingredients into one enchanted book! I've worked hard to balance the ingredients for vanilla survival: the best enchantments require rare ingredients that will take an adventure to collect! The less versatile enchantments, on the other hand, will be easy to make with common ingredients everyone has laying around in a chest. Each book enchanted at an altar will have a low level enchantment, which can be upgraded by combining two of the same type of book in an anvil!
This datapack also adds rare legendary loot that pushes Minecraft's enchantments past their limits for some truly powerful gear. These can be found in stronghold libraries, woodland mansions, and end cities, with each structure having better loot than the last. All enchantments have been tested to be a reasonable addition to vanilla survival that adds a bit of fun to your end game without completely breaking balance.
Nine custom enchantments have also been added to the game to increase the functionality of shields, battle axes, boots, and pickaxes.
So, say good bye to grinding for hours for a chance at good enchantments, take control of your enchantments with Linzi's Enchanting Overhaul!
Wessentials offers several balance changes and tweaks to the vanilla game that make it less tedious and more fun.

For non-custom enchantments, the altar enchanting mechanic creates lots of low level enchanted books. To make combining these into high level books easier, I recommend my datapack Anvil Cost Doesn't AccumulateWessentials offers several balance changes and tweaks to the vanilla game that make it less tedious and more fun.

First: I love your datapack - thanks for the work <3
Question: We found a crossbow with the Unbreaking X enchantment in an end city. I didn't find this in your GUIDE, so it was added from your data pack or because we are using "NULLSCAPE" from Terralith?

And honestly my favorite part of this datapack is how in games, this one datapack makes incentive for multiple different tools instead of just “the best one”. See, what with combining enchantments and how custom/legendary can only be in the first slot, you eventually discover that you can effectively only have one legendary enchantment at a time. And that, I *love.* It effectively means that I now have an in-game incentive to have multiple variations of the same tool. Like, I could have one Pickaxe with Efficiency X for clearing out a ton of blocks (including insta mining deepslate with a beacon), and then I can save my Fortune V Pickaxe for good ores and what not. And this extends to any tool variation! It’s legit so fun to chip at and work amassing a collection of legendary tools each with upsides and downsides purely by their variety.
And now the datapack has updated even further. Hell to the yes.
Quick question tho: I don’t see Swift Sneak in the enchanting list? Is that intended?
This pack doesn't add anything called swift sneak though. Maybe it's from another mod you have?
Edit: oh wow, I wasn't even aware 1.19 added a new enchantment. I'll add it to this eventually.

Very nice datapack though
