Auto Torch datapack by mzxciap.
Datapack namespace: "autotorch:".
Score/tag namespace: "ato_".
This datapack works in all gamemodes, single and multi player.
This datapack requires no resourcepacks.
This datapack lets you automatically place torches in dark spots.
There are two modes.
Use "/trigger ato_getmode" to get mode.
Modes are:
Trigger light of 0 (default) "/trigger ato_mode0"
Trigger light of 7 "/trigger ato_mode7"
(Trigger light levels are in server light).
To enable type: "/trigger ato_start".
To disable type: "/trigger ato_stop".
To see if it is enabled or not type: "/trigger ato_running".
It automatically places torches from your inventory in survival.
In creative it places them out of thin air.
It does not work while flying or in adventure or spectator.

Have something to say?
If it placed on every level 0 the lights would over lap to no level 7

I don't get what you mean by that.
If you want to know how to use it, read the description.
TL;DR
'/trigger ato_start" to enable
"/trigger ato_stop" to disable
"/trigger ato_mode0" to place torches in light level 0 (default)
"/trigger ato_mode7" to place torches in light level 7
"/trigger ato_running" to check if its on
"/trigger ato_getmode" to check what light level it triggers
it consumes torches in survival, not creative
not work on walls, flying or water
what are your tastes then wolfeni?
