                    Cold, Dead Hands is a Minecraft datapack for versions 1.14 and above that seeks to allow players limited, in game control over mob drops through the use of functions. Many Minecraft players will know that when creating large mob farms (such as skeleton grinders or gold farms) that their chests may soon be overrun with nonstackable drops such as bows and swords. Not any more.
                    Cold, Dead Hands allows players to toggle (by means of functions, commands must be enabled) whether mobs such as wither skeleton will drop their swords upon being killed. The datapack presently supports 6 mobs (the zombie pigman, pillager, vindicator, stray, skeleton, and wither skeleton), with datapack compatibility in mind. No loot tables have been changed, mobs that pick up your items will still drop them upon death*, and if you are a fellow datapack creator you can protect any mobs that you add from this datapack by giving them the tag "global.ignore".
                    This datapack was not my original idea, but was commissioned. You will find the datapacks commissioner credited below.

                    Cold, Dead Hands does not prevent armour items from being dropped by mobs, if you find any issues with the datapack please let me know as soon as possible.
                    *If a mob picks up an item that is the same as what it would normally spawn with (e.g.- a skeleton picks up a better bow) and that item is not named, then the item will not be returned on the mobs death, this is a known issue.

                    There was an error on my part with the toggle functions. Now, when weapon drops are toggled on, they will drop at the normal, in game rate as opposed to the previous rate (which was 200% of the time). The toggle functions have also been changed so that the drop rate of named items is no longer impacted by toggling weapon drops on.
