Ever want to weather your copper faster? This pack does just that, it offers two different methods of oxidizing your copper without being too overpowered.

First method is to craft 8 copper (blocks, stairs, slabs, etc.) with a water bucket. (don't worry it doesn't eat your bucket.)

Second method is to use a furnace to cook it. (slabs cook twice as fast.)

Both ,methods moves the copper along 1 stage, however this doesn't work for the waxed versions since that would throw logic out the window. (both real world and in game)

I came to these two methods after looking up what could speed up oxidization. (most notably heat and salt water which can increase the rate at which oxygen reacts with materials.)

Due to a request this pack now comes in 3 versions, water, furnace, or both (default). Use the alternate download to access the other versions.

The old versions of the pack, along with the various alternate versions are available with the alternate download link.

Big fan. You can remove oxidisation levels with a right click of an axe, It's only fair that you can forward the process through other means as well.

This is exactly what I wanted, but is it possible to make copper oxidize faster if you splash it with a splash water bottle?

It probably is with commands or mods, but I can't do it since splash water bottles are hardcoded. Datapacks can't directly change anything that isn't in the data folder of minecraft. I specialize in making resource packs and datapacks, if it isn't a PNG or controlled by a JSON file I can't really do much with it.
