Better Deepslate Stonecutting

We've all been there, you just got back from a resource harvesting trip in a nearby cave system using a silk touch pick to conserve inventory space. Later you go to turn your deepslate into some fancy tiles for your kitchen floor, only to realize the stonecutter only works with the cobbled version. Now you have to slowly place it all back down and mine it again, this time with any pick except your silk touch pick.

Not only is this a waste of time and durability, but it is confusing, you're telling me that I can't make tiles out of this stuff unless I smash it up before I cut it?

Well worry about this problem no longer with better deepslate stonecutting! Just throw the deepslate fresh out of the ground on that cutter and go Brrr! No smashing required!
