Crystal Portals are my take on an address based portal system in Minecraft.

With this data pack, you can:
- Set a portal at or near your home.
- Assign portals custom addresses.
- Dial and teleport to any other portal.
- Have your friends base just a crystal throw away.
- Make checkpoints for adventure maps.

The few things you cant do:
- You can't travel across dimensions, so keep that nether portal up!
- You can't place a Crystal Portal within 16 blocks of another portal.


When you log in to the world for the first time, you will be given a book that outlines how to use the data pack, but here are the basics:

The key items you need are:
- Diamonds.
- Blaze Powder.
- Ender Pearls. Lots of them.
- Amethyst Shards.
- Access to a handful of dyes, namely red, orange, yellow, lime, blue, purple, and black.

Craft a Crystal Portal Spawner using the recipe in the book, as well as a Crystal Portal Remover.

Place the Crystal Portal by right clicking on the target block with the spawn egg.

Using the colored crystals crafted using the recipes in the book, throw 3 individual crystals to set an address. This will activate the portal.

With an active portal, throw in an address of another active portal, and the portal will either link successfully, or fail to link if something went wrong.

If the connection goes through, you can then walk through the portal, and appear at the other portal.


Resource pack is optional, but highly recommended.

Fortunately, this pack has been tested on a server with 5 people playing at once, and has functioned perfectly.
