This datapack adds a new custom dimension. You can swap through dimension by eating an golden apple

You can craft a Dimensionstick and select dimension by rightclicking with the stick.
If you want to travel to selected dimension you have to eat an golden apple.

READ INSTALLATION GUIDE

1.extract the .zip
2.open minecraft in latest snapshot version (20w21a)
3.create new world
4.select "more world options" button
5.select "import settings" button
6.find the extracted .zip and import "worldgen_settings_dimensionswap.json"
6.1select this file and confirm
7.select "create new world" button
8.open file explorer copy the "dimensionswap-v1.0[​datapack]" file into "C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\<world name>\datapacks"
9.go back to minecraft and run /reload command
10.obtain a golden apple and eat it

YOU NEED TO MAKE A NEW WORLD IF YOU WANT TO PLAY V1.1

history
throws a big error in pre-release 4.

Tried it in 20w21a, imported json at creation, put folder in datapacks and reloaded. Golden apple never does anything but give me enchants. Can't find a recipe for a dimension stick. Pretty sure I followed the directions, can you confirm this actually works with 20w21a? WOuld love to use this to test some stuff with VoxelMap

*EDIT* found the recipe by looking at the datapack files. Works fine. No recipe in game though that I can see

Yea i could have release it faster but i tested the new world_generation quit a time.

Cocoon created a discord server to study the dimensions(not just copy them with /debugdim) Maybe you are in it. We didn't released any datapack for now, but we created more than 5 custom dimensions. We are just waiting to study totally the dimension files and find a way to create totally new dimensions.
