Overview:

Fancier Mansions is a Minecraft Java Edition datapack that replaces the woodland mansion structures with modified versions meant to look a little darker, spookier, and more aesthetically pleasing.



The pack replaces everything from the outside roofing and walls, to the inner rooms, carpets, and stairways. Some rooms were slightly modified, while others have been completely overhauled. Birch has been almost completely removed from the colour scheme, and more stone was incorporated into the building itself, as well as more decorative elements.



Despite the changes, the mansions are still functionally the same as they are in the vanilla game. Chests, loot, and mob spawning still remains the same. Unfortunately this won't work fully in 1.13 as I have used some blocks from the 1.14 update (workstations, new slabs, etc). I really don't want to go through and find and update each structure that uses them. Sorry about that.

Installation

To install the datapack, simply copy the .zip file into the "datapacks" folder of your world. THIS PACK WILL NOT UPDATE MANSIONS THAT HAVE ALREADY GENERATED. If you have already discovered a mansion in your world, you will have to locate a new one in order to view the new structures.
